Last year, the Princess of All Media concentrated on Showtime, her various engagements as one of the country’s top celebrity endorsers, and as concert artist with the continuation of her smash Annebisyosa: No Other Concert tour that took her to several cities in Asia, Middle East, and the US.
This early, the Viva Artist Agency superstar has not just one, not two, not three but at least five new projects already lined up—-a TV series, an album, a major concert, and at least two movies.
And she couldn’t be happier, more thankful, and more excited. “I’ll be everywhere again this year, whether people like it or not,” she said half jokingly during her recent birthday thanksgiving party.
Anne has started taping Dyesebel, for ABS-CBN. The show is scheduled to start airing in early March. Her taping schedule will alternate with her shoot for the movie The Gifted. The comedy, written and directed by Chris Martinez, is Anne’s first movie since the blockbuster drama A Secret Affair in October 2012.
The movie reunites her with No Other Woman co-star and fellow Viva artist Cristine Reyes and with another former co-star, Sam Milby. The movie is scheduled to hit screens in late summer.
This summer will also see Anne’s grand return to the music scene. She is set to record her second album, the follow-up to her surprise platinum-selling debut, Annebisyosa, released in November 2011.
The new album will precede Anne’s second major solo concert scheduled for May. The self-confessed non-singer will once again take to the Big Dome where she made her triumphant concert debut in January 2012.
“As you can see, my plate is so full in the next few months and I’ll be busier than I’ve ever been,” says Anne. “But absolutely no complains! These are all very worthwhile projects that I’m super excited about. I feel so blessed. Happy birthday indeed to me!”
