The first-ever AAHH! Fest went down this weekend complete with a surprise appearance from Yeezus himself. Kanye West took to the stage alongside Common and performed "Jesus Walks," and more of his hits.

Common and West's Donda's House presented the event Sunday (Sept. 21) at Union Park in their Chicago hometown. De La Soul, Jay Electronica, Lil Herb, Lupe Fiaso, Jennifer Hudson and MC Lyte also performed. Rhymefest, who, alongside his wife runs Donda's House, curated a community showcase. Comedian Dave Chappelle hosted.

The open-air venue was packed. Fans rhymed along as West also ran through songs like "Power," "I Don't Like," "Mercy," "Gold Digger," and "Homecoming."

Proceeds from the festival are going towards support for the city's youth emplyment initiatives via Donda's House, Inc., Com's Common Ground Foundation, and Arts Education in Chicago Public Schools.

A full-set performance from West was especially a heartfelt surprise as moments before he was in Los Angeles completing some mandatory community service at the L.A. Trade Technical College. Yeezy taught students fashion.
