Today's pop-culture roundup includes a vacation, latent ill will from Freddie Prinze Jr., a new collaborative album from Nicki Minaj, our mystery music video and much more.

POINT BREAK: Or something like that, per the Huffington Post, “Beyonce shared a handful of photos from her recent vacation on Instagram Saturday, July 26. In the snapshots, the singer poses atop a surfboard looking nothing short of glamorous and walks along a sandy beach at sunset. In one photo, Jay Z cups his hands against the sun. The couple clinks glasses in another picture.” http://huff.to/1poobVb

MEANWHILE: Something doesn’t compute here, per the New York Post, “Beyoncé may already have one foot out the door — she’s been secretly shopping for new digs without Jay Z, sources told The Post. The booty-ful belter looked at a $21.5 million Chelsea penthouse early last month — weeks after a videotaped elevator smackdown involving Bey’s sister, Solange Knowles, and Jay, and amid growing rumors of an impending breakup, said sources close to the superstar couple.

“ “She was very quiet, as if she was looking on the sly,” a source said. Fueling the notion that Beyoncé is not shopping for both of them is the fact that Jay Z has always been extremely involved in their real estate deals, sources said.” http://bit.ly/1pArO7T

FREDDIE TRASHES KIEFER: Calls him “the most unprofessional dude in the world,” per ABC News, “Freddie Prinze Jr. was a can't-miss movie star in the late 1990's with hits like "She's All That" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer." The 38-year-old father of two grew into different roles on TV and film until he co-starred in "24" alongside Kiefer Sutherland in 2010 -- a role that almost led him to quit acting, Prinze told ABC News.

“ "I did '24,' it was terrible. I hated every moment of it," Prinze said. "Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face, I think everyone that's worked with him has said that. . .I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped." Prinze, who was at San Diego Comic-Con while promoting his new Disney XD series "Star Wars Rebels," dropped off the map for a while and even ventured into other projects.” http://abcn.ws/1tROBzU

‘BANG BANG’: Nicki and friends, per The Wrap, “Get ready to hear Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Jessie J's voices all over the radio on heavy rotation because they just dropped a new single called “Bang Bang,” and it will not disappoint pop fans — especially if they loved the sound of Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya, Pink‘s 2001 team up for “Lady Marmalade.” http://bit.ly/1k5CI8U

SHE’S OUTTA HERE: Of Katie Couric, per USA TODAY, “It’s time to say goodbye to “Katie.” Katie Couric announced a long time ago that her talk show would be wrapping up as she moves on to Yahoo News. And now the end is here! Look for hugs, confetti and surprises on Wednesday’s special “Farewell to Katie” episode.” http://usat.ly/1zqQEOA

GOSSIP GIRL: Or not, per Us Weekly, “Jenny McCarthy is trying to make things right. The TV personality recently admitted in a blog post titled "Anti-Gossip Girl" that she regrets joking about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's sexuality during an episode of The View on July 22.” http://usm.ag/1nDNnHS

THE BIEBS: And the cops, per TMZ, “The Beverly Hills police paid a visit to the condo in which Justin Bieber is living … trying to calm down residents who are in meltdown mode because of the singer's antics.

“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the officers were there to do some "community policing" and spoke with various homeowners in the building ... and the conversation was all about the Biebs. We're told the main topic was noise. As TMZ first reported, Bieber's neighbors called police six times in one weekend ... four of them to specifically complain about loud partying courtesy of Bieber and his crew.” http://bit.ly/WLFczl

CHEEK TO CHEEK: Perhaps you’ve heard of these two, per Rolling Stone, “. . .Last night, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett walked side-by-side down a red carpet, with the former wearing a décolleté black dress and the latter dressed in a tux and ear-to-ear smile, in New York City prior to singing together at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

"The concert, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek Live!, will air on PBS Great Performances this fall, and it preceded the announcement of Cheek to Cheek, the singers' album of classic jazz standards that is also coming out in autumn.” http://rol.st/1tnND0Z

AMANDA KNOX: The face of an angel, per Variety, “Kevin Smith’s horror comedy-drama “Tusk,” Michael Winterbottom’s hot commodity “The Face of an Angel,” and doc-comedy “The Yes Men Are Revolting” are among the titles set to world preem at the 2014 Toronto Film Festival, which unveiled its auteur-driven Midnight Madness, Masters, TIFF Docs and Vanguard slates this morning.

“. . . Winterbottom’s “Face of an Angel” (pictured), a psychological thriller starring Daniel Bruhl and Kate Beckinsale and inspired by the media circus surrounding the Amanda Knox case, will world preem in Masters.” http://bit.ly/1zqVbRb

UM, OK: Just the facts, per People, “Andi Dorfman is the Bachelorette! After a dramatic exit from Juan Pablo's season of The Bachelor, the former assistant district attorney, who lives in Atlanta, has been searching for love once again on ABC's hit franchise. And on Monday night's season finale, she found it: with former pro baseball player Josh Murray.” http://bit.ly/1xuHy0e
