john-dias-2Two River Theater Company artistic director John Dias takes the podium once more for the annual new season announcement, with the public invited to hear the details of the upcoming 2014-2015 slate of mainstage productions in a Monday night preview party.

For the past several springtimes at their branded Bridge Avenue artspace, the creative team at Red Bank’s Two River Theater Company has made an event out of the announcement of mainstage productions for the upcoming season that kicks off in September. This Monday evening, April 28, John Dias will once again host a public-invited preview party event inside the building’s Rechnitz auditorium, during which the TRTC artistic director and some special guests will unveil the slate of shows in the 2014-2015 season. It’s a schedule in which the identity of one production has already been made public — Camelot, the Tony-winning 1960 Lerner-Loewe musical treatment of the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and a hard-earned Broadway hit that starred Richard Burton, Julie Andrews and Robert Goulet. The TRTC production is expected to boast a kingly degree of attached star power, with still more surprises in store as the 7:30 pm presentation unfolds.

The Season Announcement presentation will be followed by a reception with refreshments in the theater lobby. General-seating admission for the event is free, with required reservations available here.
