I've been a longtime fan of singer/songwriter Bryan Adams.

In fact, I mean a real long time. I even remember his first single, "Hidin' From Love," off his debut album back in 1980.

And I have seen him in concert numerous times. But this time he's on the road doing an acoustic, "Bare Bones Tour," which will span all three of his decades as an artist.

Michigan fans can see him twice this weekend!

1. Bryan Adams, 8 p.m. March 29, Dow Event Center, Saginaw; 8 p.m. March 30, DeVos Performance Hall, Grand Rapids
He is one of music's biggest stars, selling more than 65 million records, touring in six continents and achieving No. 1 hits in more than 40 countries. Some of my favorite songs include "Summer of '69," "Cuts Like A Knife," "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You," and "Kids Wanna Rock." Tickets in Saginaw are $77, $57 and $31.50. More details at doweventcenter.com. Tickets in Grand Rapids are $32-$77.50. More details are devosperformancehall.com.

2. Jillian Michaels, 7:30 p.m., March 27, Miller Auditorium, Kalamazoo
"Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels knows how to motivate you, and anyone who is need of encouragement to better their lives. Fans of the reality TV show are often polarized when it comes to her high-energy approach that offers just as much therapy as weight-loss techniques. But she gets results. This weekend she brings her "Maximize Your Life Tour" motivational tour to Kalamazoo. "The goal of my show is to help people connect with and cultivate their passion so they journey down the path of a life they want and not a life they think they should," she told John Liberty in the Kalamazoo Gazette. Tickets are $25-$150. More info at millerauditorium.com.

3. "Disney's Beauty and The Beast," March 25-30, Fischer Theatre, Detroit
I saw this show last month in East Lansing, and it's a great show. You already know the classic Disney movie, "Beauty and the Beast." Now you can see the movie come to life this weekend in Detroit. I talked to Hilary Maiberger, who plays Belle, and she said the stage is "pretty straight forward" from what you see in the iconic film. "It's magical bringing to life what you see in a cartoon to stage, especially for kids," Maiberger said in a phone interview. Tickets start at $25. More details at .

4. Ann Arbor Film Festival, March 25-30, Michigan Theater, Ann Arbor
The 52nd annual film festival features more than 200 films, videos and live performances with more than 30 premieres. If you're a film buff, this is a must-attend event. Many filmmakers also will be in attendance. For a list of films, ticket information and more, go to aafilmfest.org.

5. Sesame Street Live, 3 and 6:30 p.m., March 26, Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo
“Can't Stop Singing” features the Sesame Street cast singing, dancing and having a great time. Don't be surprised if a conga line breaks out. Tickets are $17-$25. Performances are at 3 and 6:30 p.m. More info at wingsstadium.com.
