Jared Leto tries to flirt with Emilia Clarke on the SAG Awards red carpet during an interview.

E!

He won the Oscar, but that doesn’t make him a winner with the ladies.

“Dallas Buyers Club” actor Jared Leto is one of the best-looking men on Earth, but a handful of New York beauties tell Confidenti@l their close encounters with the 42-year-old have been of the creepy kind.

“I think he’s a vampire,” one twentysomething former model says of the hypnotic actor. After meeting Leto at a Fashion Week party a couple of seasons ago, she was invited to a post-show bash for his band 30 Seconds to Mars. The statuesque hottie says she was surprised to find the blue-eyed actor had hedged his bets by inviting a whole team of model types.

“He [said he] liked that I wasn’t a model anymore, but when I went to his after-party he was surrounded by a harem,” she recalled. “All the other girls, he was liquoring them up and pouring them shots, but he wasn’t drinking so it looked kind of strange.”

A local musician who encountered Leto at one of these tables full of ladies says that he saw Leto simultaneously turn off several of them at a different nightclub.

“Hey man, I can’t talk right now,” Leto allegedly dryly told the fellow music man. “These girls want to get f—ed.”

Leto’s “way with the ladies” was filmed on the red carpet leading up to January’s SAG Awards in L.A., when he butted in on E! network’s interview with Emilia Clarke to apply his awkward charm.

“Have you looked into her eyes?” he asked rhetorically.

An uncomfortable-looking Clarke interjected, “He knows how to speak to ladies.”

One New York night owl who ran into Leto at a 14th St. nightclub a couple of years ago recalls being lured outside by the handsome, but gameless, actor.

“I thought he was going to some sort of VIP room,” said the pretty party girl, who Leto summoned with a come-hither curl of his finger. The slender brunette claims she quickly learned he was trying to lure her out of the club and declined to be that night’s takeout order.

Yet another Big Apple-based model told Confidenti@l she was freaked out by the Dracula-like Leto as he perched staring at magazine photos of her while offering unsolicited compliments as she sat nearby. She declined to speak further about the experience.

No doubt Leto does fine when he turns off the “charm.” The 2014 Best Supporting Actor Oscar champ has been spotted with Best Supporting Actress winner Lupita Nyong’o, although he joked about their “romance” at the Independent Spirit Awards earlier this month, calling her his “future ex-wife.” The duo was most recently spotted at Paris Fashion Week dining together. Leto also has been linked to Scarlett Johansson and dated Cameron Diaz for four years.

BABS CONFIRMS SHE'LL BE OUT OF 'VIEW'

Talk titans Barbara Walters and Phil Donahue, along with his wife Marlo Thomas, Blythe Danner and Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, all met up at the Guild Hall 29th Anniversary Academy of the Arts Lifetime Achievement Awards Dinner at Sotheby’s on Monday.

Walters said she was uncomfortable with a Lifetime Award. “It’s like your life is over?” she asked the crowd. Walters was also overheard saying she’s definitely retiring from “The View” in May. “No, I am going,” she said.

Baldwin shmoozed with Walters, introducing his wife. Walters asked to see photos of their 7-month-old baby, Carmen, one guest tells Confidenti@l.

Donahue, meanwhile, was heard questioning Jay Leno’s departure from the “Tonight Show.”

“You think it wasn’t him who wanted to leave?” he was heard asking a guest.

Unstoppable film publicist Peggy Siegal was also in attendance, wearing a backless dress revealing tattoo-like marks that she said were from a doctor’s skin test.

BIEBS & SELENA DRAW SWIFT JUSTICE

Taylor might not think Selena is terribly swift. Taylor Swift has “cut off” former BFF Selena Gomez now that the recently rehabbed “Come & Get It” singer has reunited with walking, talking cautionary tale Justin Bieber, according to Us Weekly magazine. “Swift, 24, is disgusted that Gomez, 21, is back with off-and-on boyfriend Bieber, who sent Gomez $10,000 in flowers and flew from Miami to McAllen, Tex., to see her March 7,” according to the mag.

RIHANNA IN A KEY ROLE

Rihanna rocked a Chanel padlock on her neck and a sexy backless shirt as she arrived at Cirque le Soir Club in London on Monday. The singer was joined by Drake, whom she has been touring with. The best-friend duo dined at Nobu across the pond the previous night. Drake was set to perform a concert on Tuesday night at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester.

BIG ‘BULLETS’ SILENCER

The musical adaptation of “Bullets Over Broadway,” starring Zach Braff, began previews Monday night at the St. James Theatre, and there were special instructions to the cast on answering questions from fans and press. “The cast has been told to not answer any questions about the [Woody Allen] child-abuse allegations,” one show insider tells Confidenti@l. “If he insists on attending, plans have been made to usher him in and out of the theater when the lights go down.”

NICKI WIGS OUT

It’s hard to tell, but the natural beauty in this bikini shot is none other than wig-loving rapper Nicki Minaj. The feisty pop star is usually decked out in sky-high yellow wigs, layers of MAC makeup and various capes. But Minaj toned things down by going makeup-free in photos during her Mexican vacation with longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels. The pair were celebrating their 10-year anniversary.

SALON CAN BE TOUGH TO FACE

No pain, no gain! Not even A-list stars get through a well-done facial unscathed. Jennifer Aniston, 45, emerged from an appointment at the Georgia Louise Atelier on Central Park West on Monday looking a little red. The “Horrible Bosses 2” star is in town with fiancé, and the two were seen holding hands on their way to lunch with Jason Bateman at Fred’s at Barneys.

ROGEN DOES THE RUNNING OF THE BULL

For his second film as a director, “The Interview,” Seth Rogen focuses on entertainment journalism shows like those hosted by Charlie Rose and Piers Morgan. Speaking to pal James Franco in the April issue of V Man, Rogen calls the shows “such bulls—. We do them and contribute to them, and we’re doing it to help sell our movies.” He continues, “In order to sell them you have to participate in this massive bulls— machine.” Hopefully, Rose isn’t an avid V Man reader.

COX’S LATEST ATTRACTION

Courteney Cox steps out with boyfriend Johnny McDaid at an event in Santa Monica, and the pair look every bit the odd couple. Cox wore a pair of geeky glasses to the Cinemagic Los Angeles Showcase at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel, while McDaid appeared sickly thin dressed in black T-shirt and black leather jacket. The “Friends” star and the Snow Patrol musician met in October after an introduction by mutual friend Ed Sheeran.

ZUCKER’S WINNING PROGRAM

It’s only fitting the man who runs the nation’s first cable news network should be honored for his lifetime dedication to philanthropy. On Tuesday at the American Museum of Natural History, the Randalls Island Park Alliance honored CNN honcho Jeff Zucker for his work with the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Robin Hood Foundation. The fancy fete also tipped its cap to its own founder, Karen Cohen, who was presented with a lifetime achievement award. Nike Inc. also was praised for helping kids realize their athletic dreams.

PRIZE-LEVEL POSEN

Zac Posen will give the keynote address at the  Fifth Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards on March 20. Confidenti@l has learned that the 33-year-old SoHo born designer will hand out the big prize at Style Coalition’s  black-tie event at Merkin Concert Hall. Posen is usually on the receiving end of award presentations. During Spring Fashion Week he was given IMG’s Style Award Designer of the Year honor.
