Robin Thicke 'hasn't given up on wife Paula Patton' as he cancels third American concert following split

Robin Thicke has cancelled a third date on the north American leg of his tour following his split from Paula Patton while he is reported to be 'desperate' to win his wife back and determined to be on his best behaviour.
The Blurred Lines singer cancelled the concerts on his North American tour after announcing on Monday that he had separated from his wife of almost nine years.
Robin, 36, failed to show up at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina on Tuesday night.

The venue issued a statement saying: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah's Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 25.
‘This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.’
He previously cancelled gigs on Friday in Atlanta and Saturday in Orlando, issuing a statement blaming vocal issues, but instead was seen flying to Vancouver, where actress Paula, 38, is currently filming.
The singer said last week: ‘I never want to let down my fans but I have unfortunately lost my voice and cannot perform tomorrow night.’
Robin is set to continue his tour on Thursday at the GMU Patriot Centre in Washington, DC.
A source told TMZ that Robin is desperate to save his marriage and that while he is set to resume his tour he is planning on being on his best behaviour.
Robin is also reportedly concerned about the couple’s son, Julian, three, being raised in two separate homes.
According to TMZ.com, Robin flew to Canada on Friday in a last ditch attempt to save his relationship, after Paula allegedly told him on Friday that she wanted a divorce.
However, after a long face-to-face discussion with Paula, who has been in Vancouver shooting a movie, Robin is said to have eventually come to the conclusion that he wouldn't be able to change his spouse's mind.
A source told the website: 'In the end Robin realised Paula was determined to end the marriage and reluctantly agreed, but was very upset. She was also upset.'
Robin then cancelled his scheduled concert on Saturday at Universal Orlando, citing voice loss as the reason.
He said in a statement: 'I never want to let down my fans, but I have unfortunately lost my voice and cannot perform.
'I have been looking forward to going to Universal Studios in Orlando and am very sorry that my concert there (Saturday) night now has to be canceled. I apologize to everyone.'
However,
he was later seen with the couple's son Julian at Disneyland on Sunday,
with sources saying his main priority was to spend time with his child
in the wake of the split announcement.
On Monday the married couple of nine years - who were childhood sweethearts - announced they were separating.
'We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,' they told People in a joint statement.
The news comes on the heels of several reports that Robin had been caught flirting behind the back of his actress wife.
Ever since his song Blurred Lines became a breakout hit in July 2013, the crooner has been caught in a series of bad situations.
Soon after Miley Cyrus twerked in his face and rubbed a foam finger on her private parts as she backed into him during the MTV Video Music Awards in August, he was caught with his hand on blonde socialite Lana Scolaro's derriere.
The inappropriate image was captured with the help of a mirror behind the married star as he smiled innocently for the camera.
To make matters worse, now the socialite has come forward to TMZ to reveal that she would like to go for a drink with the singer.
'I'd love to grab a drink with him if he asked,' she told the site.
She added: 'Robin acting like that with me makes me think there were many more. It's a shame because when you have a kid, it's upsetting.'
Also eyebrow raising was his late January flirtation with an exotic beauty inside the Parisian nightclub Club 79.
The singer was spotted embracing the looker, who had big hair and flashed a black bra. And then he was seen dirty dancing with her, grinning from ear to ear. Paula was nowhere in sight.
Though the longtime couple were seen arm-in-arm on January 25 at a Clive Davis party, just weeks later he was spotted without the Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol knockout when he went shopping with their son Julian, aged three, in West Hollywood on February 13.
Though they were man and wife for almost a decade, they met when he was only 14-years-old.
Five years after their 2005 wedding they welcomed Julian.
In 2013 the son of actor Alan Thicke said of Patton, 'We're pretty sure we've loved each other for a few lives.'
