Saturday Night Live is coming back from hiatus this weekend, and they're trying something new!

Not only will they start with first time host Jim Parsons, they'll follow him with another first timer- Lena Dunham!

The Girls creator will make her SNL debut on March 8th with musical guest The National!

We're guessing we'll see another Girls parody, but does this mean the return of Tina Fey's brilliant Blerta character? We hope so! Too funny!

It's going to be tough for Lena being on TV for 90 minutes without taking her shirt off! Ah, what the heck- take it off, gurl!

paula robin split concerts cancelled

Looks like Robin Thicke attempted to end the Blurred Lines of his marriage to Paula Patton—days before they announced their separation!

Last Friday, the crooner reportedly canceled his Atlanta concert to fly to Canada, where his wife is shooting a movie, to plead for her forgiveness.

Sadsies!

Sources close to the situation revealed Paula told Robin she wanted to end the marriage because of fighting and unhappiness, causing Robin to continue the long face-to-face conversation—and ditch some more concerts because of alleged "throat problems."

The next day, Robin bailed on his Orlando stage show so he could be with their son, Julian, at Disneyland in California…perhaps to provide some comfort!

On the heels of that announcement, his camp explained they were canceling another concert at a casino in North Carolina immediately following the separation revelation.

Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort announced Monday night that tonight's show was being postponed "due to unforeseen circumstances."

…Which is obviously code for "My personal life is a mess, sorry guys!"

Hopefully they'll have this whole thing figured out soon!

Bethenny Frankel’s talk show became just another daytime casualty earlier this month. But before you shed any tears for this former Real Housewife, you should know she’s SUPER happy to be canceled!

Wait…really??

K, maybe she’s not happy about not returning to TV, but Bethenny says she is relieved to finally have some free time. She explained to her fans why she’s staying so positive in an open letter on her web site.

Bethenny wrote:

"I am relieved. What I really want right now is to be with my daughter, to do yoga, to focus on Skinnygirl and my writing, and to give myself a break. I have been striving and climbing and white-knuckling for so long that I need a rest from the grind. I'm a little over myself and wouldn't blame anyone else for being over me as well.”

Well we certainly aren’t over you, gurl! We know talent when we see it and you’ve got the goods, for SURE!

Having her own talk show also gave B. Frank some extra respect for the woman who co-created and produced her series: Ellen DeGeneres!

These two may have had some mini tiffs this past season but now that what’s done is done, Bethenny has nothing but kind words for Ellen.

Frankel wrote:

"As easy as people like Ellen, Oprah, Wendy, Rachael and Steve make it look, it is one of the hardest jobs I have ever done, and I have so much more respect for them having been through this experience. They are warriors and champions who make a very difficult job look effortless.”

So, you may not have what it takes to be a Daytime Queen. It’s better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all!
