Comedy actor, director and writer Harold Ramis has died at his suburban Chicago home.

A spokesman for United Talent Agency says Ramis died early Monday morning of complications from an autoimmune inflammatory disease. He was 69.

Ramis is best known for his roles in comedies such as "Ghostbusters" and "Stripes."

He co-wrote "Ghostbusters," in which he appeared with fellow Second City alums Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray. He also co-wrote "National Lampoon's Animal House" and "Meatballs" and directed such films as "Caddyshack" and "Groundhog Day."

More recently, he directed "Analyze This," a movie starring Billy Crystal and Robert DeNiro.

UTA spokesman Chris Day says Ramis had been battling an autoimmune disease that affects blood vessels for four years.

Day says Ramis' family was at his side when he died.

Nelly Furtado admits it can be "challenging" working with her husband.

The 'Say it Right' hitmaker has worked with her sound engineer spouse Demacio 'Demo' Castellon - who she married in 2008 - on two albums, 'Loose' in 2006 and 2009's 'Mi Plan' and though they share "healthy tension", their studio sessions usually result in "good things".

She told PEOPLE magazine: "It's a healthy tension working together. It doesn't always go smoothly, of course, and it can be really challenging when there are differences of opinion, which of course happens. But good things always tend to come out of it, and that's the whole point."

"We make it work because he's often doing his own thing. I go off and do my own thing, so it's not like we're working together all the time."

Nelly is returning to the recording studio later this year and is looking forward to her spouse to push her into creating work that is better than ever.

She added: "When we work together, he challenges me. That's what makes him so great in the studio. If it were an easy process, the final product wouldn't be very good, but he helps me to reach a little bit further. He pushes my boundaries."

And away from the studio, the 35-year-old singer - who has 10-year-old daughter Nevis with former boyfriend Jasper Gahunia - says she and her family have a "great life".

She said: "We're very blessed to have a beautiful family. We have a great life together. Life is good."

Chris Brown has left rehab.

The 'Fine China' hitmaker recently completed 90 days of court-ordered treatment for anger issues but decided to remain in the facility in Malibu for a few extra days until he felt confident he wouldn't slip up again.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "He's back home now and he feels good about it. After Chris left rehab, he headed to a music video shoot, where he broke out some impressive moves for his new single, 'Loyal.' "

Chris' friends and family, including his mother Joyce Hawkins, threw him a small homecoming party on Saturday night (02.22.14).

The insider said: "We had a low-key celebration for him. It was real quiet. A lot of hugs. A lot of thank yous. No big speeches although he said, 'Thank y'all for being there for me. Really appreciate all that. Love.' We weren't trying to turn it into a crying session, we just all wanted to be around him and uplift him and show him how proud of him we are."

The R&B singer was ordered to seek anger management instead of being sentenced to jail when his probation, stemming from his violent assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, was formally revoked as a result of an alleged assault on Parker Adams in Washington D.C. in October.

But the 'Forever' singer feels he has finally learnt to control his temper.

The source said: "He's trying to take what he learned with him about his anger and relationships with women and his mother and use those skills to make his relationships better."

Justin Bieber will reportedly reject the plea deal offered to him by prosecutors in Miami.

The 19-year-old star, who is scheduled to appear in court in Florida on March 3 after being charged with driving under the influence (DUI), driving with an expired license and resisting arrest last month, thinks the Florida State Attorney's conditions are too strict and he doesn't want to be forced to undergo random drug testing.

The 'Baby' hitmaker has been offered the chance to avoid facing a stint in jail and to have most of the charges dropped if he agrees to plead no contest to reckless driving, completes 40 hours of community service and submits to random drug testing for up to nine months at his own expense.

But a source told gossip website TMZ.com that Justin's legal team believe there are huge problems with the case because a police officer allegedly lied when he said the underage star reeked of alcohol when he was only slightly above the legal limit, and a sophisticated GPS device proved Justin was only driving at 27 MPH at the time of his arrest.

The insider said that the 'Heartbreaker' singer will not accept any plea that involves probation, suggesting he is worried about going to jail if he does anything illegal in the future.

Prosecutors also want Justin to attend an alcohol education course and a 'victim impact panel' to hear relatives of DUI victims share their stories, as well as having an ignition interlock device - a tube used to test her breath and make sure he's alcohol free - installed in his cars.

The source said that Justin, who is also scheduled to appear in court in Toronto, Canada on March 10 after being charged with assaulting a limousine driver on December 30, is open to a plea but will not accept the current deal being offered to him.

Kate Winslet claims she doesn't recognise most famous people.

The 38-year-old actress, who has been close friends with Leonardo DiCaprio since they were first propelled into the spotlight after starring in 'Titanic' in 1997, is glad she found fame before social media sites, such as Instagram and Twitter, started and doesn't understand why reality TV stars, including Kim Kardashian, are considered celebrities.

The 'Labor Day' star told Total Film: "When I'm in Waitrose, I literally stand at this bank of magazines going, 'Who are all these people?' Half the time, I don't even know who they are!"

She added: "Now there's a lot of focus on television stars and soap stars and these real-life Kardashian-type families. But yeah, I'm very, very grateful, when it was happening to Leo and I, we didn't have any of this cyber-chaos."

The blonde beauty - who has daughter Mia, 13, with ex-husband Jim Threapleton, son Joe, 10, with ex-husband Sam Mendes, and two-month-old son Bear with husband Ned Rocknroll - also believes that critics are kinder to her now that she is a bit older.

She said: "It seems to be more of a respectful thing as you get older. When you're younger, they really do treat you like you're loose bait. They know that they can get in there somehow. Whereas when you're older, they know that they can't do quite as much damage."

Jennifer Lawrence is going to take a year's break from acting.

The 23-year-old actress has made eight films in the past 12 months, and Harvey Weinstein - who worked with her on 'Silver Linings Playbook' - has revealed she is about to have a much earned "rest".

He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "She's going to have a long break for a year where she won't do anything. It's been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest."

The famed producer also defended her decision to not attend the BAFTAs ceremony, despite receiving an award for her role in 'American Hustle'.

He explained: "Jennifer is too nice and will do people favors and agrees to do a movie like 'American Hustle' when she could have had a rest.

"She signed on to do 'Hunger Games' when she was young and wouldn't have realized how much it would dominate her life. BUt she's a professional and always will be."

On top of her film careers, Jennifer's time has also been taken up as she looks to buy a house in the UK with her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

A source recently said: "They loved the house as soon as they saw it. They know it's not realistic at this point in their thriving careers to live in the UK, but they want a bolthole across the pond.

"Jen loves the English way of life and as they are now serious again, it makes sense to look into buying somewhere."

'Heroes' is set to return to TV with a brand new series.

The popular science fiction show - which followed ordinary people who developed super powers - will be back with 13 episodes and some of the original cast may return.

The new program will be called 'Heroes Reborn', and TV bosses at network NBC are "thrilled" to be bringing the franchise back to the small screen.

Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement: "We're thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept.

"Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won't rule out the possibility of some of the show's original cast members popping back in."

While it's not clear which of the earlier stars will return, Masi Oka has hinted he could reprise his role as Hiro Nakamura.

He wrote on Twitter: "Was watching the Olympics and saw the #HeroesReborn trailer. Time to dust off the sword?"

Harry Styles has split from Kendall Jenner.

The One Direction heart throb is said to have broken up with the Kardashian sister due to their work commitments, with him kept busy with the band and "focusing on her modelling".

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, an insider revealed: "Kendall has been focusing on her modelling and Harry is preparing for work on the band's fourth album, as well as their stadium tour.

"The reality is that with everything they both have going on it's impossible to sustain anything serious."

Despite their recent break up, the pair are reportedly "still friends" after their relationship came to an end without any "major" arguments, and they could try again in the future.

The source added: "There's been no major fallout. They're definitely still friends and haven't ruled anything out in the future."

While his relationship might be over, the 'Story of My Life' hitmaker recently insisted the group is as strong as ever with no plans to call it quits.

He said: "We're not breaking up. We've spent every day together for months and forgot what my mum looked like. It's just holidays."

The Tonight Show returned to New York this week, ending its four decades stop on the West Coast.

New host Jimmy Fallon is a New Yorker who says he wants the excitement of the nation's largest city to permeate his show. But there's another key reason for the show's return home: an unconventional New York State tax credit that could potentially save NBC more than $20 million a year.

The language of the 30 per cent credit is remarkably specific, applying to shows that film in front of a studio audience and spent at least five years elsewhere.

NBC says it helped make the move possible. Similar credits have helped TV and movie productions thrive in the state but experts are divided about whether it's worth it.

Guns N' Roses will perform nine shows in Las Vegas later this year.

Axl Rose and his bandmates have inked a deal with The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to return for a short residency, dubbed 'No Trickery! An Evening of Destruction,' in May and June.

The 'November Rain' rockers, who previously performed a series of concerts titled 'Appetite for Democracy' at the venue in 2012, will take to the stage at The Joint again on May 21, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31, and June 4, 6 and 7, 2014.

Bobby Reynolds, vice president of booking for concert promoters AEG Live Las Vegas, told USA Today: ''If some is good, more is better! That's our take on welcoming back Guns N' Roses (GNR) to The Joint. Our first residency with GNR was fantastic in every way imaginable. The band and the fans loved the venue, and the business was great for everyone else involved. We want all of the Guns N' Roses fans across the globe to come see what one of the iconic rock 'n' roll bands can do when they have the best venue in the world to do it in, in a city made to party. We are gearing up for another epic residency.''

Chas Smith, vice president of entertainment for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, added: ''What more can I say than it's a great honour to have one of the most iconic rock 'n' roll bands in the world coming back to rock The Joint for nine more shows! We are all excited about this next run.''

The band have sold more than 100 million albums globally since 1985 and released their most recent album 'Chinese Democracy' in 2008.

Tickets start at $49.50 and go on sale next Friday (28.02.4).

Snooki is reportedly pregnant again.

The former 'Jersey Shore' star, who has an 18-month-old son, Lorenzo, with her fiancee Jionni LaValle, is expecting their second child later this year, but is desperate to keep the news a secret.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six that the 26-year-old star is already a few months pregnant but doesn't want it to affect her lucrative personal appearances.

A spokesperson for Snooki declined to comment.

Snooki, whose best friend JWoww is also pregnant, previously admitted she was eager to expand her family.

She said: "Right when I get married I want to have my second kid right away. I want like three more. I want like the Brady Bunch. I think it's because I'm an only child and I never really had anyone to play around with so I want a big family."

Earlier this week, the reality TV star - real name Nicole Polizzi - revealed she is planning to have a 'Great Gatsby' themed wedding.

Although she wants her big day to be special, the star is not going to spend a fortune on her wedding and is going to cut costs where she can.

She said: "I don't have a wedding planner. I'm trying to save money - I'm so cheap! Plus, I don't like people telling me what to do."

Sam Worthington has sparked rumors he recently married Lara Bingle.

The 'Avatar' star and the 26-year-old model, who both hail from Australia, have been spotted wearing matching rings in New York City.

The 37-year-old heartthrob, who was previously linked to model Sophie Monk, wore a simple gold band on his left ring finger while out walking around Manhattan on Thursday (02.20.14), according to PEOPLE.com.

Lara, who recently moved to New York, showed off a similar ring in a photograph she posted of them on Instagram on Valentine's Day last Friday (14.02.14), with the caption: "His Heart. My Heart."

A spokesperson for the couple has yet to comment on rumors they tied the knot recently.

The pair began dating in September 2013 and made their first red carpet appearance together last month when they attended the Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts in Sydney.

It was recently revealed Sam and actress Zoe Saldana are returning for the three 'Avatar' sequels.

The stars have signed on to reprise their characters Neytiri and Jake Sully for James Cameron's next three installments of the sci-fi adventure.

Zoe tied the knot in a secret ceremony in London with artist Marco Perego last June, and only confirmed her nuptials in December.

Kurt Cobain was honoured by his home town of Aberdeen, Wash., on Thursday. What resulted was a tribute gone wrong, judging by online reaction to a crying statue of the singer.

Cobain rose to fame in the 1990s as the frontman of the band Nirvana. Cobain, however, had a well-publicized struggle with the constant spotlight, battled a fierce heroin addiction, and died of suicide in 1994.

And apparently for the last two decades, the town has debated whether to honour him. According to local media reports, many in the town are still embarrassed by Cobain’s drug use and offended by some unflattering lyrics he wrote about Aberdeen.

But the city finally decided to honour him in 2014, proclaiming Feb. 20 “Kurt Cobain Day.” He was celebrated with a concert and an exhibit at the Aberdeen Museum of History, that includes T-shirts and a couch that Cobain once slept on.

And then there was the statue.

A local man had created a larger-than-life statue of Cobain nearly 20 years ago and had offered it to the city. It was only last Thursday that the statue finally had a dedication ceremony by the mayor.

A nice tribute, right? Well-intentioned, perhaps. But there were several odd things about that statue, including the fact that many people thought it looked nothing like Cobain.

Tori Spelling reportedly isn't sure whether she can save her marriage.

The former 'Beverly Hills 90201' star was left devastated when her husband, Dean McDermott, checked into rehab last month to address some personal issues, after he was accused of having affairs with multiple women, but she is "of two minds" about whether to file for divorce.

A source told UsMagazine.com: "Tori keeps waffling. Even if they reconcile, it's going to be hard to trust him."

But the blonde actress, 40, is expected to eventually forgive Dean, 47, for the sake of their four children, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and 17-month-old Finn.

Another insider explained: "Tori doesn't want her kids to grow up without their dad in the house."

Tori's mother Candy Spelling has urged her to forgive Dean.

A friend recently said: "Candy certainly is not a big fan of Dean at the moment, because of the hell he has put her daughter through. But she does recognize that he is a great father and he does love Tori. Tori finally confided with her mom, about her ultimate fear that Dean could cheat on her again in the future. It was a very open and honest conversation. At the end of it, Candy told her daughter, 'You will never know unless you try.'

"Since Dean did decide to get help, Candy thought that he at least deserved a another chance."

Hulk Hogan is returning to the WWE next week.

The 60-year-old star, who hasn't been on WWE television since December 2007, is set to make his re-debut on the flagship show 'Monday Night Raw' before appearing on 'WWE Raw Backstage Pass' on Monday (02.24.14), and will also host the special anniversary of 'WrestleMania 30' in New Orleans in April.

Confirming the news to WWE.com, the multi-time world champion, who first competed at the very first event in 1985, said: "Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family. I only have one question for the WWE Universe: Whatcha you gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild as the host of 'WrestleMania 30'? (sic)"

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon added: "We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE. It's fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of 'WrestleMania' and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network."

The legendary wrestler's return coincides with the launch of the WWE's new streaming network, which launches on the same day.

WWE Superstar Ryback recently said it "feels right" for Hulk to get back in the ring.

The 32-year-old professional wrestler - real name Ryan Reeves - previously said: "To have a guy like Hulk Hogan come back for 'WrestleMania 30' it just feels right. His impact on the WWE and the significance of his career in the WWE to where it is now, he played a big part of that. To have him back, and I don't know his physical condition or anything of that nature so I don't know what role he can play, but just to have someone like Hulk Hogan there in the building in New Orleans it just feels right. I'm hoping something can be done on that end."

Jennifer Aniston has no plans to get married soon.

The 'Horrible Bosses' star, who got engaged to Justin Theroux in August 2012, has allegedly put their wedding plans on hold as she is feeling "extremely insecure" about their future together.

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com that the actress' decision to celebrate her 45th birthday earlier this month with friends, including Courteney Cox, in Los Angeles instead of flying to see her fiancé, who is working in New York, is "indicative of the status" of their relationship.

The insider said: "Justin asked Jen to come to New York City but she declined, citing the cold weather. She wanted to be in sunny Southern California with her friends.

"It's absolutely indicative of the status of Jen and Justin's relationship. There is absolutely no wedding talk or planning going on. Publicly the couple is saying it's because they are just too busy with work, but if they wanted to get married, it would happen."

The source added: "The relationship is definitely at an impasse...either it's going to fizzle out, which seems likely, or they get married. Jen is extremely insecure and very needy.... Justin is the opposite, very laid back and low maintenance."

Jennifer, who was spotted wearing her engagement ring and a necklace with the letter 'T' for Theroux at an event last week, previously admitted she was in no rush to get married.

Last summer, she said: "We just want to do it when it's perfect, and we're not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job."

Lamar Odom wants to win back Khloe Kardashian.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' beauty served the professional basketball player divorce papers in early December, following months of rumors he cheated on her and was addicted to drugs, but the 34-year-old star hopes they will reconcile as he still loves her deeply.

Lamar, who was spotted wearing his wedding ring when he relocated to Vitoria-Gasteiz in Spain earlier this week for three months to play basketball with Laboral Kutxa, told UsMagazine.com on Friday (02.21.14): "I love my wife. She'll always be my wife, no matter what."

Asked if they could reconcile in the future, he said: "Who knows? We don't know exactly if [the divorce is going through]. Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife."

Lamar, who has two children from a previous relationship, said that marrying Khloe, 29, in September 2009 was the one of the greatest decisions he's ever made and admitted he has a lot of regrets.

He said: "Those were some of the best years of my life. Being married and being married to a woman I decided to marry was, besides having children, the most important thing in my life."

The former LA Lakers star is currently focused on getting his career back on track.

He said: "I've got a winner mentality, the mentality of a champion."

Miley Cyrus has hit back at critics who have called for her 'Bangerz Tour' to be cancelled.

The 21-year-old singer kicked off her raunchy world tour in Vancouver, Canada, last week and has come under fire for antics such as simulating a sex act on a man wearing a Bill Clinton mask, but Miley insists she gave fans a pre-warning her shows would be X-rated.

She wrote on Twitter yesterday (02.20.14): "You can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour (sic)"

The tweet was accompanied by a picture of Miley on stage in a revealing outfit exposing her butt.

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker then blasted her critics by telling them to "save" their outrage.

She quipped: "Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the 'fries with that' (sic)"

Earlier this week, it was claimed the star's management has been "flooded" with complaints due to the salacious nature of the stage show.

A source said: "Miley's management have been flooded with complaints, mainly from parents, since her tour began last week in Canada with calls for the entire tour to be axed.

"Her team, including management, record label execs and the entire tour staff including the director, costume department and choreographers have been called for an emergency meeting as arenas across the US threaten to pull out of the show."

However, concert promoters Live Nation insisted last night there have been no issues with the tour and Miley will continue to perform in arenas across the globe.

A spokesperson told MailOnline: "There is no truth whatsoever to any stories or rumors of venues pulling out of the 'Bangerz Tour'.

"Miley has created a tour that's big, spectacular, entertaining and everything you would expect from Miley Cyrus. Reviews have been amazing and most important, fans are loving the show and having a great time."
