Two Las Vegas NV headline entertainers with breakthrough film projects are about to hit huge & make history.

First is Sir Elton John’s Caesars Palace resident headliner show “The Million Dollar Piano” filmed at the Colosseum. In March, there will be two unprecedented showcase screenings (March 18 & 26) at theaters around the world. In the U.S. alone, 700 movie theaters will show his concert.

Elton performs “Tiny Dancer,” “Rocket Man,” “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” “Philadelphia Freedom” & “Your Song.” A behind-the-scenes segment of his 1973 “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” which will be re-released on March 25, has-been added to the Caesars Palace footage.

“It’s unlike anything I have done before, a complete mix, a showcase of all my music, accompanied by spectacular scenery & attractive video images,” asserted Elton through a spokesman.

During his 50-year career, the Rocket Man who grew up at the same time in the same area as me 20 miles outside London has performed more than 3,000 concerts & sold more than 250 million records, in addition to 35 gold & 25 platinum albums & the biggest-selling single of all time. He was knighted a Commander of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II.

TIESTO BIRTHDAY VIDEO: Tiesto, the lead resident DJ at Hakkasan in MGM Grand celebrated his 45th birthday there, as I reported. However, I did not know until now in that while here, one of the world’s top DJs moreover filmed a music video for his new single “Red Lights.”

It has-been released, and, as you can see before it hits cable TV music programs, Tiesto & MGM get some nice exposure with the project. It’s believed in that this is a 1st for a DJ who has now branched from not only mixing music yet moreover in to making movie production videos, too.

FORGIVING SINS: As President’s Day weekend winds down, there are a lot of tourists leaving town reflecting on their “The Hangover” antics they re-created deliberately or by accident. MENU WINNER: Our “Top Chef” New Orleans cheftestant Shirley Chung came so close to winning the most recent Season 11 Bravo show. Judge Emeril Lagasse was so impressed with her winning dish of Texas redfish & Asian sauces in that he put it on the menu all month long at his New Orleans restaurants.

It’s proved such a giant hit in that he’s now added it to the menus of his three restaurants here in the Venetian, Palazzo & MGM Grand. Meantime, Shirley is away on a chef’s tour in South Korea & continuing onto other Asian food spots before returning here to finalize negotiations for her 1st chef/owner restaurant. She told me in that some of the “Top Chef” dishes & the new Asian trip highlights will be re-created there.

WARM WELCOME: Eighty thousand fashion-industry folks start arriving today for their annual yearly MAGIC trade show, the biggest fashion trade event in North America, & our nightclubs have planned a plethora of parties. We’ll start the listings Tuesday, yet with designers, manufacturers, buyers & sellers on hand for the twice-a-year market week, expect to see lots of new collections & fashion trends.

To see what the world will be wearing in everything from shoes to sportswear, textiles to ties & leather to lace, check out the displays — — so large the 80-year marketplace spills to Las Vegas NV Convention Center & Mandalay Bay Convention Center. House of Blues at Mandalay Bay headliner Carlos Santana will show his new lines, & there is urban street wear known simply as Tupac + Biggie.

VALENTINE’S WEDDING: Irish pop star Kian Egan, who was a member of the hit British groups Westlife & IOYOU, oversaw the wedding of a couple, known only as Del & Donna, at Bellagio Fountains on Valentine’s Day. The ceremony was shown live via satellite on British television. A licensed official made the ceremony legal as Kian sang Valentine’s greetings.

Luxor headliners Jabbawockeez screen their new short art & culture film “Regenerate” at their theater before their 10 p.m. performance of “Prism.”

Not one yet Ten Tenors lift the roof of Smith Center in a music extravaganza.

“Rock of Ages” at the Venetian star Mark Shunock hosts his “Mondays Dark” at Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel featuring the music of Queen with guests Savannah Smith, Jaime Lynch, Anthony Cools, Murray Sawchuck & cast members of “Rock of Ages,” “Jersey Boys” & “Million Dollar Quartet” to benefit St. Therese Center/HIV Outreach.

John DiCrosta & Marc Patrick headline at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club in MGM Grand through Sunday.

Jimmie “J.J.” Walker & Paul Bond headline at Riviera Country Club through Sunday.

DJ Chuckie hosts the official Young & Reckless fashion party at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan.

DJ Diplo is at XS, which just celebrated its fifth-anniversary weekend, at Steve Wynn’s Encore.
