Justin Bieber has jetted off on holiday to Panama.

The 'Baby' hitmaker, who was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in Miami, Florida on Thursday (23.01.14), was spotted walking topless along the beach and went jet-skiing with friends, including his rumored new flame Chantel Jeffries, in Punta Chame on Saturday morning (01.25.14).

Wearing a pair of bright blue swim shorts, the Canadian star looked relaxed and carefree as he soaked up the sun with the bikini-clad model, who was with him when he was arrested, and two male friends, one of whom appeared to be holding a bucket of beer.

Twitter user Robert Menegoni was among the first to reveal Justin's whereabouts in the early hours of Saturday morning when he tweeted: "Just arrived in Hartford. Slight delay leaving panama due to justin Bieber arriving by surprise. Paparazzi, JB is hiding out in Panama!! (sic)"

The singer is allowed to consume alcohol in the Central American country, where the legal drinking age is 18, three years lower than in the US.

Other fans also posted pictures on Twitter of Justin arriving and speaking to security at immigration control at Tocumen International Airport near Panama City.

The troubled star flew out of Miami on Friday night (01.24.14) after refusing to board a private plane that had been organised to take him back to Los Angeles so he could enter rehab after he was released from jail on Thursday.

His security team were forced to sneak him out the back of his rented mansion in South Beach due to the huge amount of fans waiting to greet him.

Oprah Winfrey threw a spinning party ahead of her 60th birthday.

The US chat show queen, who is set to celebrate the milestone next Wednesday (01.29.14), invited 50 of her close friends to join her for a private spin class at SoulCycle in West Hollywood on Friday (01.24.14) before they indulged in some tasty sweet treats.

A source told People.com: "[There were] no celebs, just her own friends. Oprah was in the best mood. She was smiling and in such a celebratory mood. It seemed like she was having a great time with her friends.

"They did a class for 45 minutes, and for about another 45 minutes they all mingled and enjoyed candy, cupcakes and juice. They all wore customized T-shirts that said, 'Happy Birthday Oprah.' "

'The Butler' actress, who wore bright yellow workout gear, clearly enjoyed her early celebration as she posted a short video clip from the bash on her Instagram page, in which she said: "I just had the best birthday experience ever at SoulCycle. Ride, baby, ride, SoulCycle."

The chain of spinning gyms is very popular with celebrities, including Jake Gyllenhaal, Emily Blunt, Bradley Cooper, Katie Holmes, Alec Baldwin, Jonah Hill and Lady Gaga.

Kellan Lutz is an inventor.

'The Legend of Hercules' hunk is obsessed with TV show 'Shark Tank' - where entrepreneurs pitch business ideas to a panel of potential investors - because he loves seeing people's creations as he says he has several of his own in the pipeline.

He said: "I love [TV show] 'Shark Tank', I watch that religiously. I'm obsessed with inventions and this year I have a few patents coming out. You'll see!"

The 28-year-old actor - who has recently been romantically linked to Miley Cyrus - prefers doing active sports to spending time working out in the gym to stay in shape.

He added: "I don't go to the gym that much. I find more fun ways to work out: Playing basketball, playing volleyball and snowboarding."

Kellan is also a fan of literature and is a particular fan of Francine Rivers' 'Redeeming Love' because he related to the subject matter.

He explained to America's OK! magazine: "This is an amazing book. God tells a man to marry a prostitute, and he goes after her, and she doesn't feel worthy. I've been with women who don't feel their self-worth, and all you want to do is save them."

Hugh Jackman feels he has the "best of both worlds" living in New York and Australia.

'The Wolverine' star lit New York's Empire State Building in green and gold for Australia Day yesterday (24.01.14), and says he's very happy that he, his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness and their children Eva, eight and Maximilian, 13, get to live there.

He told website The Huffington Post: "Australia is our home. We've been there, but New York has been our base for awhile. We love living here, the opportunities are incredible, particularly for my job.

"It means I can work internationally and still be at home a lot more. You know, we miss Australia a lot, but New York is a great city and it's a great place to bring your kids up.

"[And] we go back to Australia a lot. I shot three movies here [in the US] in the last five years, so we've been back there two-and-a-half years in the last five years. Deb and I feel we get the best of both worlds."

Hugh, 45, also expressed his happiness at being cast as Blackbeard in the new film 'Pan', based on the story of Peter Pan.

He said: "I love it. I love the director Joe Wright, I love working with Warner Bros. and I think this is just really exciting. It's a very cool project. And it's wonderful for my kids!"

Jennifer Hudson is embracing her thirties.

The 'Feeling Good' singer reached the milestone age two years ago and is comfortable with who she is and enjoying her third decade.

She told E! News: "I love the thirties. I'm like, now I got the hang of it and being settled with myself and embracing it. I love the space that I'm in."

Jennifer has also recently finished her third studio album and claims it is a "feel good" record.

She told MTV News: "I think it's more of a feeling, more than a genre, and I've had the pleasure of working with Pharrell [Williams] and Timbaland, and I love their process.

"They allow you to express yourself musically as an artist, as a writer, in every way. It's been a lot of fun."

Speaking of the track, which will be the lead single, she added: "You listen to it and it'll make you happy."

Jennifer also has an alter-ego on the record who she calls Jones, who will appear in some of her tracks - although she has ruled out any raunchy numbers.

She said: "Singing about the same old things in music is so overrated. Sex, drinking, the club. Okay, especially sex. Like, we are grownups, we ain't got over that? like, really? Ain't you too old for that kind of thing? Can you talk about something else? I get annoyed with those things."

Kristen Stewart wants to shave and tattoo her head.

The 'On The Road' actress has to keep her long brunette locks for parts in movies, but if she had her way she'd sport lots of crazy hairstyles and colors and has vowed to cut it all off one day.

She told website IntoTheGloss.com: "If I wasn't an actor, I would definitely do things to my hair. I would cut it more, I would dye it more. At some point I want to do a total boy cut, completely - not a pretty, girly version - like a straight up James Dean haircut.

"And then, I'm definitely going to shave my head before I die. I will definitely tattoo my head while it's shaved before my hair grows back. I'm not sure which part, probably the bottom quadrant in the back. I don't know what the tattoo would be, yet. Still thinking."

The 23-year-old actress added she doesn't care whether people like her image, as worrying about other people's opinions can only hinder her art.

She added: "As long as I feel solid about my creative choices, people can have whatever image or perception of me that they'd like.

"You can't think that someone's impression of you is wrong - it's their impression - and, therefore, you really can't worry about it.

"So many people have developed their impressions based on f***ing bull***t, and you'll never do anything true to yourself, you'll never make the art you want to make."

Noomi Rapace ''trusts'' her 'Child 44' co-star Tom Hardy.

The 34-year-old actress stars as Raisa Demidova who is the wife and ally of military police officer Leo Demidov, played by Tom Hardy, and her history with the star made filming scenes easier.

She told The Independent's Radar Magazine: ''I met Tom two years previously and we were looking for something to work on.

''What was really great was that we know each other really well, and we really trust each other, so we don't need to be polite, we don't need to start from zero. We could just melt into the next one. We had so much for free. It felt like we were this gypsy family coming from New York with all our family and the next stop was Prague.''

'Child 44' - which is based on the novel of the same name by Tom Rob Smith - follows the tale of Leo as he investigates a series of gruesome murders on children in Russia during the 1950s, but as evidence builds against a number of the highest government officials he finds himself in the middle of a deadly scheme.

Noomi Rapace is interviewed in Radar Magazine in The Independent, out on 25th January http://www.independent.co.uk/topic/RadarMagazine

Enrique Iglesias has the sleeping habits of a vampire.

The 'Heart Attack' singer comes alive in the evenings just like the mythical bloodsuckers and he admits he developed his nocturnal habits because of his hectic pop career.

Describing what he does to relax, he said: "When I have free time, I usually practice aquatic sports or I try to have a walk with my dogs next to the sea. But the truth is that I am not able to do that frequently due to the huge amount of work I have to deal with.

"Fortunately, I have got used to it over the years and, in the end, I have been able to cope with everything even if I feel tired. It is true that I barely sleep but, as vampires do, I prefer resting during the day."

Enrique says his choice of profession has effected all aspects of his life, including his private relationships.

But the 38-year-old heartthrob - who has been in an on/off relationship with former professional tennis player Anna Kournikova for 12 years - can deal with all the negative parts of fame because he comes alive when he is on stage and forgets anything bad about his job.

In an interview with Spanish website Cosmoenespanol.com, he revealed: "It is true that I have to keep many things behind to cope with my musical career, but when I see all those people in front of me at my concerts, I get so excited and I feel it's worth doing it (making music) no matter what it takes."

Lindsay Lohan insists she's single.

The 27-year-old actress has been linked to model Christian Arno Williams in recent weeks, but has now confirmed she is completely unattached.

She told Australian radio station KIIS 1065: "I do not have a boyfriend, that can be confirmed."

The 'Mean Girls' actress was also quizzed about filming her new reality show with her "second mother" Oprah Winfrey, explaining that she wanted people who may only know wild persona to discover the "human" side to her

Lindsay said: "I was at a point in my life when things were starting to turn around and change, so we thought it it'd be good if people shared that with me and saw a different side of me which that haven't really gotten to see.

"I wanted to show that I'm just a human being and a normal person and I have every day experiences that everyone else goes through in life."

The flame-haired star claims she's cut all alcohol and drugs out of her life since leaving rehab last year and has finally learnt how to enjoy herself on a night out while sober.

Lindsay added: "I don't go out with my friends and expect them not to have a drink, but that doesn't mean that I have to do the same things as they're doing."

Seth Rogen has branded Justin Bieber "a piece of s**t."

The 'This Is the End' star lashed out at the 19-year-old singer on Twitter after he was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in Miami, Florida on Thursday morning (01.23.14).

The 31-year-old comedian and actor tweeted: "All jokes aside, Justin Bieber is a piece of s**t."

The post was shared by more than 70,000 other users within four hours.

Seth's blast will come as a surprise to some fans as he was spotted bonding with the Canadian singer at the MTV Video Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles in 2011.

'Girls' star and creator Lena Dunham also tweeted: "The only crazy part of Justin Bieber arrest is that he was 'popping anti-depressants all day.' Anti-depressants take like 3 months to work."

However, the 'Baby' hitmaker received some much needed support from Lady Gaga, who urged her fans not to judge him at this tough time.

In a post on her website LittleMonsters.com, the 27-year-old 'Applause' singer wrote: "Hey monsters. I know everyone today is taking about Justin's arrest and all sorts of words and judgements are happening on the Internet."

She also encouraged her followers to support Justin and his fans, known as Beliebers.

She wrote: "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and to stand up for themselves, but I think we should be supportive of Beliebers.

"They deserve, just like any other fan, to feel strong for each other and Justin so they can continue to share the bond they have through music. We may not understand everything celebrities do because there's only so much we see, but Justin and Beliebers were 'born this way' too. Let's spread love and compassion to Beliebers today. That is what we are all about."

Scarlett Johansson is "deeply in love" with her fiancee Romain Dauriac.

The 'Her' actress, who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds for two years until 2010 and got engaged to the French journalist in August, admits she is "very happy" to be with someone she can always rely on.

Asked about their engagement, the 29-year-old star told People magazine: "I've never been much of a traditional girl, but I do think it's a nice period. There's something old-world nostalgic about it."

She added: "I'm very happy. He's my buddy. He's someone I can always rely on."

The couple plan to take their time to plan their wedding, as they don't want to "rush through it."

The blonde beauty explained: "Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor."

The 'Don Jon' star, who recently moved to Paris with Romain, is already enjoying domestic bliss and loves cooking her beau tasty meals at home.

But she said: "I cook, but I'm no pro. I was making a white chicken chili and I had to let it reduce for a little while, so I was like, 'Let's go build a snowman while we wait.' I got a little carried away ... Three hours later, I was like, 'Oh no, the chili!' I went back inside and the house was covered in smoke. A pro would have not made that mistake. Make sure to check every five minutes if you are reducing something!"

Tori Spelling's husband has checked into rehab.

Dean McDermott, who has four children, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and 15-month-old Finn with the former 'Beverly Hills 90210' actress, confirmed he is seeking treatment to address some personal issues, just one month after he was accused of having an affair with a woman at a hotel in Toronto, Canada.

The 'Chopped Canada' host told People.com: "I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family.

"I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment centre to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

The 47 year old is receiving intense treatment but is allowed to leave the facility to visit his children at home in Los Angeles.

A source close to the couple said: "Their priority right now is their children."

Along with infidelity rumors, Tori and Dean, who were married in 2006, have been rocked by financial troubles recently, and the 40-year-old actress is said to be privately "devastated."

An insider previously said: "I don't think she even knows what she's going to do right now. But no matter what, she's staying strong for her kids. She's all about her family. She worships those kids.

"I don't know if she's strong enough to leave him right now with everything she's going through and four young kids. She could stay with him or not. God only knows."

Lorde texts Taylor Swift for advice.

The 'Royals' hitmaker - real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor - reached out to the '22' singer when she wasn't sure what to buy her manager for Christmas and was contemplating whether to purchase a hand-shaped brass bowl or a "minimalist globe table lamp".

Talking to Rolling Stone magazine, Lorde revealed: "Taylor's super-good at this stuff. She's decorated her own houses for ages."

The pair became friends after Taylor sent Lorde roses to congratulate her when her hit single 'Royals' topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart

The kind gesture came as a surprise to the 17-year-old singer who was "floored" especially since it came after she'd insulted the blonde beauty.

She previously said: "Taylor Swift is so flawless and so unattainable, and I don't think it's breeding anything good in young girls."

However, when the 'Red' star heard what the New Zealander had said, she took it in her stride and was flattered about the backhanded compliment.

Lorde explained: "She was like, 'It's fine. If all you've done is call someone perfect, it's not that bad.' "

Update -- 11:30 a.m.

Justin Bieber has been released from a Florida jail on bail, several hours after Miami Beach police stopped the Canadian pop star under suspicion of drag racing in a yellow Lamborghini.

Dressed in a dark orange jail uniform, Bieber stood silently as he appeared before a Florida judge by video link. Attorney Roy Black told the judge he'd been hired by Bieber's manager, but he and his partner had been denied access to the singer in jail.

Bieber's bond was set at the "standard" $2,500: $1,000 for resisting arrest, $1,000 for DUI and $500 for his expired license. He was released from jail shortly after 2 p.m., and will now have to go through Miami’s criminal court system.

The singer won't be getting preferential treatment regardless of his celebrity status, Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine told The Associated Press, adding that he was grateful that no one was injured.

Though Bieber's exact blood-alcohol content wasn't immediately released, "during the investigation, Mr. Bieber made statements that he had consumed some alcohol, that he had been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication," Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez said in a press conference. He said the combination was enough to be considered "impaired."

Martinez said Bieber was "a little belligerent" to officers at first, "using some choice words, questioning why he was being stopped."

Local media reports painted a picture of the events leading up to the arrest. Police told local media that Bieber was driving a rented yellow Lamborghini. The Miami Herald also reported that Bieber was visiting a club on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach on Wednesday night.

Update: 8 a.m.

A van believed to be transporting pop star Justin Bieber has arrived at a South Florida jail following his arrest on drag-racing and DUI charges.

Television footage early Thursday showed a van thought to be carrying Bieber from a Miami Beach police station to a Miami-Dade County jail. The van, with blacked-out windows, was trailed by squad cars. After the van left the station, police said Bieber was gone.

Police say Bieber and an R&B singer known as Khalil were arrested early Thursday.

According to police, Bieber was driving a Lamborghini and Khalil was driving a Ferrari.

Sgt. Bobby Hernandez says Bieber failed a field sobriety test. Bieber and Khalil both face drag-racing and driving under the influence charges.

On the heels of controversy over a vandalism case, pop star Justin Bieber has been arrested after police say he drag-raced on a Miami Beach street in a yellow Lamborghini and failed a sobriety test early Thursday.

Miami Beach police confirmed the arrests of 19-year-old singer and an R&B singer known as Khalil in tweets from the department's official account.

Officers saw two cars racing at 4:09 a.m. Thursday, with two vehicles apparently used to block the area off, Miami Dade-Police spokesman Sgt. Bobby Hernandez told WSVN in South Florida.

According to police, Bieber was driving a Lamborghini and Khalil was driving a Ferrari. Both cars were towed.

Bieber failed a field sobriety test and was taken to the Miami Beach police station for a Breathalyzer and processing, Hernandez said.

Bieber and Khalil both face charges of drag-racing and driving under the influence.

Bieber will be transported to the Miami-Dade County jail, Hernandez said.

An email seeking comment from his publicist Melissa Victor was not immediately returned.

The street where police say Bieber was racing is a palm-tree-lined residential area in mid-Miami Beach. Along one side of the street are small apartment buildings, and on the other side are a high school, a youth centre, a golf course and a city firehouse.

Under Florida law, people under the age of 21 are considered driving under the influence if they have a blood-alcohol content of .02 per cent or more - a level he could reach with one drink. For 21 and over, it is .08 per cent.

For a first DUI offence, there is no minimum sentence and a maximum of six months, a fine of $250 to $500, and 50 hours of community service. For anyone under 21, there is an automatic six-month license suspension.

First offence of a drag-racing offence nets a sentence of up to six months, a fine of $500 to $1,000, and a one-year license suspension.

Earlier this month, officials said that detectives in California searched Bieber's home looking for surveillance footage that might serve as evidence the pop star was involved in an egg-tossing vandalism case that caused thousands of dollars in damage to a neighbour's home. Officials said Bieber was at the home and co-operated with authorities

In that case, authorities arrested one member of Bieber's entourage on suspicion of drug possession: Lil Za, a rapper whose real name is Xavier Smith.

After being taken to jail, Smith had felony vandalism added to his potential charges and was released on bail at about 8:15 p.m.

The singer lives in a gated community in Calabasas, a celebrity enclave about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Previous investigations into Bieber's conduct by the sheriff's department have not resulted in charges.

In October, prosecutors declined to charge Bieber after a neighbour complained he drove recklessly through the area. Prosecutors in November 2012 also declined to charge the singer after a paparazzo accused him of punching and hitting him after leaving a Calabasas movie theatre.

Justin Bieber was only 15 when his platinum-selling debut "My World" was released. The singer from Ontario had placed second in a local singing contest two years earlier and began posting performances on YouTube, according to his official website. The videos caught the attention of a talent agent who helped Bieber land an audition with R&B singer Usher. Usher, along with Island/Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid, signed him to a recording contract.

Charlie Sheen previously staged a car crash to pull out of 'The Tonight Show'.

The 'Anger Management' star repeatedly found reasons to bow out of his guest appearances on the talk show and even went as far as arranging a minor accident, from which he sent a photo to the studio as evidence.

Talking on the NBC program on Wednesday (01.20.14), host Jay Leno asked Charlie:"What was the car one [excuse]?"

He replied: "I just couldn't come man, I'm so sorry."

Jay said: "This is what I get... It was four o'clock, five o'clock. Not only could you not come but your limousine had come off the freeway."

Charlie chimed: "I told Dylan my driver to actually go into a skid ... so there would be tire tracks on the road and then put the thing into the ditch and this is pre-texting so I think we sent you a photo somehow."

The 48-year-old actor has pulled out of 'The Tonight Show' on multiple occasions, previously using the excuse of having his wisdom teeth removed more than once, much to the amusement of 63-year-old host.

Jay quipped: "I remember you were having your wisdom teeth pulled at the same time."

Charlie added: "Yeah, in the car, I'm that good... There was always wisdom teeth problems."

Jay laughed, and added: "You had your wisdom teeth pulled four times - that was the funny part ... Everyone would go, 'That happened last time.' "

Charlie replied: "I had 16 wisdom teeth."

The host admitted the former 'Two and a Half Men' actor was one of his "favourite guests" but also claimed he was one of "the most-cancelled guest we've ever had", calling last minute to drop out.

Selena Gomez doesn't think she was "fair" to Demi Lovato.

The 21-year-old star drifted apart from her childhood friend when the 'Skyscraper' hitmaker checked into rehab for help with an eating disorder and self-harm in 2010, and Selena admits she backed away from her pal because she didn't "understand" what she was going through.

She said: "I've known her since we were seven, and we did fall apart for a while.

"She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing. I processed it saying, 'OK, I don't understand what she's going through so I'm just going to do this.' I don't think it was fair, and I'm so happy that I have her back in my life now."

The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker - who has an on/off relationship with Justin Bieber - thinks the way her friend has got her life back on track is "incredible" and she says the former 'X Factor' judge is one of her biggest inspirations.

She told Seventeen magazine: "I feel like we're all given what we can handle, and clearly someone thought she could handle so much - and she could, and she did. And she's incredible for that. I couldn't imagine going through some of the things that she went through, and the fact that she is who she is today is insane - she's one of my inspirations."

These days, the former Disney stars are closer than ever.

Selena said: "Demi's very, very strong. She's the only person that I would tell the deepest, darkest secrets to. The only person."

Time wasting rules. 1) Grab a coffee.  2) Waste a little time. 3) Get back to work!
