One Direction star Harry Styles and reality star Kendall Jenne r have got the blessing of Kendall’s mum and “momager” Kris Jenner.

Though they tried to avoid photographers – a Jenner first – the trio put on a semi-public display in a private “VVIP” section during an Eagles concert at the reopened Forum in Los Angeles on Friday night.

“Harry and Kendall made a point of only hanging out together in the side room, which only 20 people had access to,” says one insider. “They did seem very aware of who was watching them though and simply hung out and then went out separately to see The Eagles perform.”

Styles, 19, and the 18-year-old Jenner sister both arrived and left separately with Kris making sure she accompanied Kendall. The young couple made sure that they only hung out together at a separate side room at The Forum Lounge, which had already been set aside for VIPS including supermodel Cindy Crawford , comic Larry David , actor Tom Hanks , Ex-American Idol judge Randy Jackson , rocker Steven Tyler , Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel and actress Jane Seymour.

Still, a few eagle-eyed fans shot the couple cuddling as they danced to Eagles hits “Take it Easy,” “One of These Nights” and “Already Gone.”

At least one Twitter fan posted grainy dark shots of the pair cuddling in the auditorium while watching the show, and another at Kendalldaily.net posted a similar snap.

As Confidenti@l previously reported, Kris, Kendall and Harry have vowed to not make a big deal of appearances at showbiz events or talk about their blossoming relationship.

“Kris was in their room with them, and the way she interacted with Harry smiling and laughing, it appeared that she had given him her seal of approval,” says our source.

“Kris certainly didn’t appear like an overprotective mother. She left Harry and Kendall alone in their ‘VVIP’ room, while she went and socialized and watched the band.”

Styles was overheard telling fans “I am staying in Los Angeles for a few days,” but he wouldn’t be drawn to talk about Kendall. He also ducked questions about where he was staying during his visit. The Hotel California perhaps?

Adams didn’t go home empty-handed — “American Hustle” won for Best Acting Ensemble.

RADIO IS STILL A STERN-ON

he reigning King of All Media turned 60 last week, and he’s only getting better.

“I still feel like I have a lot to learn,” Howard Stern says in the new Billboard magazine. “I still look back and say, I f—ed that up.’ You’ve got to care. It would be very easy not to care, but it was never for me to get into radio for the money. It’s because I really cared about it, the medium. I thought I could be my funniest, my best, on the radio, not anywhere else.”

Stern, who’ll broadcast his big Jan. 31 birthday bash live from Hammerstein Ballroom, told Billboard he thought about shifting to TV, but is glad he didn’t.

“Radio seemed like security,” Stern said. “TV seemed like a tricky game where they bail on you in one second. Look at what they did to Chevy Chase . [In 1993], they gave him a talk show and, nine weeks later, they’re badmouthing him. Nine weeks earlier they were saying Chevy was the savior of late night.”

Stern fans’ bonus: Above is a rare photo of Howard with “Super Agent” Don Buchwald .

Carole King is too shy to see "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical."

“She’s always been a private person and very publicity-shy,” Goffin explained to Confidenti@l. “She values her home life more than she values her stardom. She was very reluctant to let this happen, and God bless her, she put her trust in me and said, ‘I’m going to let this happen, I’m putting this in your hands, I’m trusting you.’ ” Goffin serves as her mom’s manager.
